Yes. HBOT is an FDA-cleared medical therapy with a well-established safety record. Every session at Associated NeuroRehab is personally supervised by Dr. Tessy Jenkins, a Board-Certified Neurologist, and our technician monitors your vital signs continuously throughout.
Sessions run for either 30 minutes or 1 hour depending on the protocol. The 1-hour session is most popular — many patients relax fully and fall asleep in the reclining chair inside the chamber.
Yes. Our chamber accommodates one person at a time, so you always have complete privacy during your session. You wear an oxygen mask, sit in a comfortable reclining chair, and the chamber is pressurized to 2.0 ATA.
No. HBOT is an FDA-cleared treatment with extensive peer-reviewed clinical research behind it. It has approved indications including chronic non-healing wounds, carbon monoxide poisoning, acute traumatic ischemia, osteomyelitis, and radiation tissue damage — among others.
We do not accept insurance at this time. All payments are self-pay. We accept Zelle, Cash App, credit/debit cards, and cash. We recommend checking with your HSA or FSA provider, as HBOT may qualify for reimbursement.
Most protocols consist of either 30 sessions (30 minutes each) or 15 sessions (1 hour each) — both totaling 15 hours of treatment. Some conditions may require 30–40 sessions. Dr. Jenkins will advise during your consultation based on your condition and severity.
Yes, same-day appointments are available depending on schedule. All appointments must be confirmed via phone first — walk-ins are not accepted. Call us at 248.208.9215 to check availability.
We are open Wednesday through Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Call ahead to book your preferred time — same-day availability is often possible within these hours.
You will complete a patient intake form (super bill) covering billing details, demographics (name, gender, date of birth, weight), and patient authorization. Our team will take your vitals — weight, temperature, and blood pressure — before your first session and at each subsequent visit.
